The giant panda prepares for changing conditions with the black and white colour of its coat. The white colour brings protection in snowy areas while the black fur helps the panda to blend into the dark forest. Pandas also use the black circles around their eyes and their ears to communicate with their own kind. This is the inspiration behind the free-hand drawing of a panda’s face that serves as a tribute to this endangered, wonderful and unique creature.
