Care instructions

Note this when choosing our products
A shrinkage of 7-10 % is common for linen textiles. Take this into account in sizing – this means for example that before the first wash the bath robe is supposed to be slightly too large.
We don't pre-wash the products in the production. Unwashed textile does not absorb water, so it has to be washed before use.
Linen terry products may seem hard and rough before the first wash. The material becomes softer after wash and use but stays still a bit rough.
According to studies, how long a product is used for is the most important aspect from the point of view of the product’s ecological footprint. When cared for appropriately, our linen products last for decades and can be passed on to the next generation.

Care instructions
Wash linen products separately from other textiles. Wash dark and light colours separately.
Completely soak the textiles before washing, especially linen terry. This is to ensure that the water in the machine is not absorbed into the textiles but instead used for washing and rinsing off the loose fibres.
Regularly check the machine’s lint filter, especially before and after washing a product for the first time.
Follow the washing instructions on the textile.
Straighten and smooth out the textiles and hang on washing line to dry. Avoid tumble drying as it wears out natural fibres.
Mangle or iron linen products when damp, especially the flat-woven textiles. Our products also endure well higher ironing temperatures.
